Undergraduate students who identifies as Black, Indigenous or racialized are eligible for $1,500 BIPOC Undergraduate Award

The Galt Museum & Archives have partnered with the Art/Museum Studies program at the University of Lethbridge to award any undergraduate student who identifies as Black, Indigenous or racialized with $1,500 and the opportunity at the museum as a inter during the Fall Term.

All recipients will be selected by a committee comprised of members of the Department of Art and staff member(s) at the Galt Museum & Archives. This is a competitive award and proposals will be adjudicated on the merit of submissions.

In order to be eligible for the BIPOC Undergraduate Award, student must demonstrate and interest in museum and collections by writing a cover letter between 250 and 500 words that outlines how the opportunity fits with the applicant's interests and goals. Resumes and copies of transcripts either official or unofficial must be included with the cover letter.
