Fort Whoop-Up is Hiring!

Indigenous Museum Attendant

Ready to spend your summer bringing stories, culture, and history to life?

The Galt Museum & Archives and Fort Whoop-Up are hiring up to five Visitor Engagement Attendants for an 18‑week term beginning May 1, 2026. In this front-line, visitor‑focused role, you’ll lead tours and hands-on activities, support programs and events, help keep interpretive spaces running smoothly, and assist with admissions, retail, and daily operations across both sites.

We’re looking for self‑identifying First Nation, Métis, and Inuit post‑secondary students with strong communication and customer-service skills who are eager to work with diverse communities.

If you’re passionate about sharing regional history, comfortable supporting events, and excited to learn through real museum experience, this is your chance.
