“Lethbridge is the town I grew up in. Though I left to pursue career and for love, it is the place I come back to often. More than that Lethbridge has been very important to my mother Louise Saloff, and it is her photo I wish to submit. She was a Métis elder and community leader. She served the city she loved for many years as a Social Worker, as former vice president of Métis Local, and she ran for council after retirement. It would mean a great deal to her family and to those people whose lives she touched if you were to include her in this HONOR!

“Lethbridge is my home town. I'd like this honour for my mother Louise Saloff who intended to submit a photo but sadly passed away suddenly. She was a social worker for years in Lethbridge and worked with immigrants a great deal and in retirement worked with indigenous and Métis people of Lethbridge. We say she knew most of the town. I am terrible at sending and uploading pictures but I hope one of these will work. Thank you.”
