“My dad came to Lethbridge and Canada with his parents from Bahrain, Persian Gulf in the late 70's. My dad met my mum in Lethbridge at LCI and married a few years later (I believe the 7th couple of mix-race to married in Lethbridge back then).

“My mom was part of the Currie family that owned Curries Fine Food/Frozen Food Locker on 9 Ave S.

“I was born in Lethbridge, raised in Coaldale and attend the U of L. Left when I was in my 20's to explore bigger city and travel, but missed my family and community and moved back 8 years ago and am proud to raise my son here!
