TICKETS FOR 2012 GALT BEER TASTING GOING FAST!

Tickets are selling fast for the Galt Museum & Archives popular Beer (& wine) Tasting annual fundraiser taking place Friday, September 7 from 4:30 – 10:00 pm, this year celebrating the Galt’s upcoming exhibit Uncovering Secrets: Archaeology in Southern Alberta opening to the public on October 6.

“We thought it would be fun to look ahead to the new exhibit” adds Chris Roedler, the Galt’s Resource Development & Volunteer Coordinator responsible for the tasting event. “We encourage ticket-holders to channel their inner archaeologist for a chance to win great prizes!”

“We are also excited to be working with Andrew Hilton Wine and Spirits this year”, says Roedler. “Kyle and the staff have been working hard to bring a great lineup of beers and wine for the event!” Entertainment will be provided by the Bryant & Watson Duo.

New beers and past favourites, along with wine and spirits, will be available to sample at the event. Pizza donated by Panago Pizza will be available for purchase, along with other refreshments. And a silent auction includes items such as advertising spaces in Lethbridge living Magazine, autographed photos from the Calgary Flames, Saskatchewan Roughrider items and much more. All proceeds from the event support the Galt Museum & Archives. 

Tickets have been available since August 7 at the Galt Museum Store, and are going fast. They are priced at $9 each ($7.50 for Annual Pass Holders). Mini steins are also available on the day of the event to ticket holders, while supplies last. Product sampling tickets will be sold at the event for $1 [GST included]. Because the event is expected to sell out, tickets will not be available at the door.
