2012 “What’s What Lethbridge?” for front-line staff

Thursday JUNE 07.12|11:00 AM -7:00 Pm

Fort Whoop-Up National Historic Site, Galt Museum & Archives and Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens are combining resources for a third year to offer the “What’s What? Lethbridge” familiarization tour for local front-line employees.

Front-line staff at hotels, gas stations and restaurants have been invited to visit the three attractions on Thursday, June 7 between 11:00 and 7:00 pm for free admission, personalized tours to learn about each site, and an opportunity to meet others in the industry, including staff at the attractions. \

“This awareness initiative aims to help local front-line staff become more knowledgeable of some of the attractions in Lethbridge,” says Doran Degenstein, Executive Director at Fort Whoop-Up National Historic Site.

“We would welcome all interested business owners in Lethbridge who feel their staff would also benefit from this event to contact us before the end of the day on Tuesday to register them,” says the Galt’s CEO/Excecutive Director, Susan Burrows-Johnson. To register, call 403-320-3954.

“We are pleased that the Lethbridge Lodging Association is supporting the event for the second year,” says Lindy Rollingson, Executive Director at Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens.

Participants can have their ticket stamped at the three sites; fully stamped tickets can be entered into the draw barrel at Fort Whoop-Up for a chance to win a Blackberry Tablet. The Fort is hosting a come-and-go BBQ for the participants from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
