Expressive Landscapes w/ Carla Beres

  • Galt Museum & Archives 502 1 Street South Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1Y4 Canada (map)

May 31, 2026 | 1pm - 3pm | Expressive Landscapes w/ Carla Beres

Wander 'Down in the Valley' and let the coulees lead the way. This playful afternoon invites you to slow down, look closely, and respond to the landscape through drawing, painting, whatever your artistic practice may be. Bring hills, shadows, and stories to life while getting curious about the images that call to you—and the meanings they quietly hold. A mindful, creative pause rooted in place. Materials provided, but please feel welcome to bring your own to use.

This event is complementary to our current exhibit “Down in The Valley“ which explores human connections and dependence upon the Oldman River for life on the prairies. This exhibit is located in the lower-level exhibit space at The Galt and runs until Augus 09th, 2026.
