How long have you been volunteering with The Galt Museum?
- 3 years with The Friends of the Galt Museum & Archives
What inspired you to start volunteering at the museum?
- As university students, we were given a tour of the Archives at the Galt- what a treasure trove of artifacts. I was pleased to see that some of the ancient operating room equipment from St Michael's was there before the old hospital building was demolished in 1996. It was well known to the nurses at St Michael's that there was a ghost- some said a nun who came to the nursery on night shift & comforted the fussy babies...
What role do you currently volunteer in, and what does a typical day look like for you?
- I am the current Treasurer with The Friends of the Galt. We financially sponsor the Galt museum’s events and community programming.
