Step back in time and experience winter at Fort Whoop-Up through stories, language, and traditional skills that celebrate the season’s beauty and resilience. Gather around the fire for tastings of berry soup and pemmican, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, learn the Blackfoot language, & join in hand games, jigging, storytelling, tea making, winter counts and winter survival activities. Discover how people on these traditional Blackfoot lands have come together to share warmth, knowledge, and celebration through the long winter months.
