Join Api'soomaahka (artist, Kainai Ecosystem Protection Association, Napi's Garden) to learn about the plant Sipatsimo (sweetgrass), harvesting and lessons. We will spend our time at the Galt Museum, learning Blackfoot plant science and listening to stories.
Flora Foundations is an outdoor and hands-on exploration of botany, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) science, and the medicinal uses of local plants. Registration at each class in the series is encouraged.
