Explore the River Valley with Larkfir Conservation Session 2: Bugs at Dusk

  • Galt Museum & Archives 502 1 Street South Lethbridge, AB, T1J 1Y4 Canada (map)

Join us for a two-hour, all-ages exploration of the fascinating insects and small creatures that thrive in the Oldman River Valley. We’ll begin briefly at the Fort with a short introduction to local "critters" before heading outdoors to spend the evening immersed in the river valley landscape. Through guided observation and a simple nature-inspired creative activity, participants will explore the essential roles that pollinators, decomposers, and other invertebrates play in shaping ecosystem health, uncovering a hidden world that is often overlooked yet vital to prairie life. Perfect for curious kids, families, and lifelong learners alike!
