THIRD ANNUAL BEST OF THE BEST WINE TASTING

Thursday JUNE 21 | 7:00 – 9:00 pm | limited Tickets available at the Galt Museum Store

The Galt Museum & Archives is pleased to partner with The Wine Cavern, a Lethbridge-based liquor store, for the second year on the “Best of the Best” Summer Wine & Beer Tasting” taking place Thursday, June 23 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Galt.

“We are always excited when local businesses approach us about putting on an event to support our needs,” says Lori Harasem, Event Coordinator at the Galt Museum & Archives. “The Wine Cavern did an outstanding job of organizing this event in 2010 and those in attendance were excited to leave with gifts, and the opportunity to sample many great products all for one price.”

Again this year dozens of beers and wines will be available for sampling, including many imported beers and new products.

Tickets are on sale now the Galt Museum Store only at $50 each, and include samples of all products, food pairings including gourmet cheeses and fruits, admission to the Discovery Hall exhibits and a $20 tax receipt.

A pair of tickets is up for grabs for those who post what their favourite wine or beer is and why on the Galt Museum’s Facebook wall: facebook.com/GaltMuseum. If their product is being sampled at the event, their name will entered into a draw to be made on the morning of Monday, June 20.
