A neighbourhood that develops and grows relationships between residents is a neighbourhood that nurtures community health and resilience. But how is this relationship-building achieved? What do neighbours value in their sense of “neighbourhood”? Kevin MacLean of the Upper Vic Neighbourhood Association and Aimee Benoit, PdD Candidate at the University of Lethbridge, will share their knowledge and experiences on the benefits of engaging neighbours around “place” and how to build that engagement from the ground up.
