Volunteers make it happen!

The Galt Museum & Archives is a thriving institution, what we offer and who we are could not be done without the help of volunteers! Every area of the Galt is assisted by volunteers at some point during the year, if not on a daily basis. Just before our expansion project and 16-month closure [September 2005-May 2006] more than 200 volunteers donated nearly 8000 hours in one year!

Volunteer at the Galt and get a Disney pass!

Thank you Lethbridge and area volunteers! We have participed in the North American initiative "Give a Day. Get a Disney Day." program celebrating and inspiring volunteerism with dozens of flexible volunteer opportunities for all ages.

The program has surpassed Disney's expectations: they have already assigned their 1 million passes allocated, and it is now closed. Please contact Lori if you have any questions about the projects you had committed to.
