2005-2006
Capital Campaign
The generous support of over 400 foundations, businesses, organizations, groups and individuals, as well as all levels of government, has meant a 100% success in meeting the capital costs for our 2004-06 Expansion Project. A Campaign Victory celebration was held in October 2006, at which the final donor wall and plans for the museum grounds were unveiled.
Donations ranging from Community Savings Humanitarian Level gift to the Lethbridge Iron Works Founder Level donation, a challenge grant from the Lethbridge Community Foundation to matching support from the Galt Nurses Alumnae Association and many others, large and small, have created a foundation for support which is being felt beyond the construction of the new Galt.

Moving into the future... Under the guidance of the 2007-2014 Strategic Plan, the Board of Directors is charged with building on the foundation created by the Legacy Campaign. Our membership and donations have increased, and the Nurses Garden has been completed with a life-size bronze statue of a Galt School of Nursing Graduate [by local artist Don Toney], 285 engraved bricks and plants reminiscent of early 20th Century prairie gardens.
