Endowment Fund
For generations, visitors have been seeing the experiences of their own lives through the lens of the stories unfolding at the Galt.
Like the generations before you, you have many special memories of your visits to and experiences at the Galt Museum & Archives that have shaped and influenced your life.
You believe future generations should have the same opportunities to grow and learn through the journeys that this museum offers.
A gift in support of the endowment fund supports an enduring, inspirational, engaging, social and multi-generational experience—discovery of the stories of Lethbridge and southwest Alberta.
The Friends of the Galt Endowment Fund was established with a lead gift from The Friends Society of the Galt Museum & Archives, to provide permanent financial support to the museum and allow the diversification of revenue sources.

home of The Friends of the Galt Endowment Fund.

What is an Endowment Fund?
Funds that are permanently set aside and invested to generate philanthropy resources; expenditures are made from the earnings while the principle remains intact.
