Activity Backpacks & Treasure Hunts

For children and families.  Borrow a different activity pack each time you visit.  Follow in the footsteps of explorer George Dawson or solve a theft in the coal mines.

Available packs: Coal Mining, the Galt Hospital building, the Coulees and the natural environment, immigration and settlement, the Kainai, and Headlines of the Past.

Our weekly Saturdays at 1:00 intergenerational family program offers an opportunity to discover recent and not-so-recent history through take-home projects.

Coulees & Culture Connection

Come celebrate the return of a great program highlighting the cultural, historical and natural treasures in our city. Four full days of fun and exciting activities will keep kids busy and [shhh] educated! Each day children are dropped off at a different location:
