The new 2500
square foot Education Centre, housed on the main floor of the historic
Galt hospital building, provides space for thousands of people each year
to experience dynamic, interactive learning.

Community Savings
Learning Studio
The Learning Studio provides the community with
a multi-purpose, user-friendly space where ideas and learning can
flourish. The Learning Studio's planned flexibility allows it to
be used as a classroom, a meeting room, a preschool area, a discovery
centre, a games area, a reading room, a lecture hall, theatre and
more... Museum staff predict that the Learning Studio will become
the busiest room in the new Galt, as its potential uses are virtually
limitless!

Lethbridge Iron Works Classroom
Education and experience are integral components
of the Galt's mission. The classroom provides space and opportunity
for the Galt to fulfill its educational mandate. Whether it is being
used for curriculum connected education programs, by teachers who
want to enhance classroom teaching with real-world applications,
or as a space for art and crafts, the classroom is a vital component
in the Galt's Education Centre.
