In a remote locale outside Lethbridge, the Korite International Ammolite mine, the world’s largest, is in operation, supplying 90% of the world’s Ammolite.

Extremely rare and beautiful, Ammolite's iridescent colours glow with the beauty of the rainbow. 71 million years of tectonic pressure created this gem from the fossilized remains of the shell ammonite.
