[SEP 7, 2011] Story of Japanese Canadians to be told in virtual exhibit Lethbridge - The Galt Museum & Archives is developing the multi-lingual "Nikkei Tapestry: Japanese Canadians in Southern Alberta" virtual exhibit in partnership with the Virtual Museum of Canada (VMC) at virtualmuseum.ca - an initiative of the Department of Canadian Heritage - as well as the Nikkei Cultural Society of Lethbridge and Area [NCS], the University of Lethbridge Departments of Music and New Media, and École Agnes Davidson School. [MAY 12, 2011] Community asked for loan of toys and games for next exhibit Lethbridge - The Galt Museum & Archives is scouring its shelves and databases in preparation for the fall exhibit: Toys & Games - engage, entertain, educate and needs the help of local and area residents by May 31, 2011.

Lethbridge - Experience the history of the area on your way to the Waterton Wildflower Festival, learn about the changing face of ranching in the foothills, meet the members of a nearby Hutterite Colony, and discover the past in Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
