The Galt Museum & Archives has learned that the Auschwitz: The Eva Brewster Story exhibit will be awarded the 2007 Alberta Museums Association Programming: Exhibits Award at the AMA Annual Awards Gala on September 22 in Red Deer.

Museum Free Day

The Galt Museum & Archives presents Museum Free Day on Saturday, January 27 to celebrate the opening of Auschwitz: The Eva Brewster Story exhibit. Coincidentally, January 27 is the same day Auschwitz was liberated in 1945 by the Russian Army. The date is now commemorated by the United Nations as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
