Try haggis, join in on the songs, and enjoy performances by the Lethbridge Highland Dancers and Lethbridge Scottish Country Dance Club, all followed by a Scotch Tasting [tickets at the event]. This year, event honors long-time supporter Stewart Christie.

You don't have to be Scottish to attend!

This popular annual sell-out event is an opportunity to try new beer, wine and spirits and talk to reps and find some new favourites. Door prizes, entertainment and more!

The event celebrates the upcoming exhibit " Galt Hospital 100 Years" [SEP 11-DEC 04] with a medical theme!

Limited tickets available: $8/person, pre-sale tickets for annual pass holders begins AUG 03; tickets on sale to the public AUG 10; $1/sample tickets available at the event.

Southern Alberta is home to many talented artists who create three dimensional artwork. The intriguing range of expression, media, style, genre, colour and size is examined in this juried exhibit.

All works shown in the Community Savings Learning Studio. Afternoon demonstrations in the Friends of the Galt Board Room and Small Meeting Room.

Admission is free for ArtWalk viewing. Admission is charged to visit the Discovery Hall exhibits.

Movie Madness

This year, the Galt offers a three-day, pre-Halloween Movie Madness featuring the cult classic "Rocky Horror Picture Show", an "Exorcist" Movie Marathon and a Zombie Movies Marathon!

Prizes for best costumes!

Check our Adopt-an-Artifact site to"adopt" one of our artifacts - a fun way to help raise funds for the museum! Photos and information on selected artifacts are featured, along with instructions on how to place your bid.

PLEASE NOTE: although you do not gain ownership of the artifact, you will receive a photo and a chance to have a behind-the-scenes tour of Collections in 2011 to see your sponsored artifact.
