Viewing Gallery

Join the Galt for this year's verrrrry special occurrence celebrating the 250 anniversary of the Scottish poet's birth. Try haggis [this year, the haggis bearer is Senator Joyce Fairbairn!], join in on the songs, and enjoy performances by the Lethbridge Highland Dancers and Scottish Country Dancers, all followed by a Scotch Tasting [18+] with Alex Currie of PMA Canada and Kyle Baines of Andrew Hilton Wine Merchants.

3 Dimensions Sculpture Exhibit

Celebrating Alberta Arts Days and 2009 ArtWalk!

Southern Alberta is home to many talented artists who create three dimensional artwork. The range of expression, media, style, genre, colour and size is boundless and intriguing. 18 artists are featured in this year's exhibit:

Roy Bartz, Fred Chomiak, Carolla Christie, Louise Cormier, Scott Eriksen, Rosemary Foder, Jeff Hirsche, Terresa King, Len Komanac, Marlene Lacey, Heather MacDonald-Sorochan, Vern Miller, Shannon Pahara, Chad Patterson, Alex Pavlenko, Arianna Richardson, Toshiko Tanaka and Tim Westbury.

All works shown in the Community Savings Learning Studio. Afternoon demonstrations in the Friends of the Galt Board Room and Small Meeting Room.

LAST DAY TO SEE The Mighty Bridge and related exhibits.

Saturdays at 1:00 program: "It's a Draw"

Admission is free for ArtWalk viewing. Admission is charged to visit the Discovery Hall exhibits.
