Cowboy Up Bus Tour

Explore the changing face of ranching in southwestern Alberta with Wendy Aitkens, Curator at the Galt Museum. The tour begins at the Galt with a tour of The Vanishing Landscape, followed by an interpretive bus ride through the prairie landscape to the Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village in Pincher Creek and the Bloomin’ Inn Guest Ranch for steak supper, cowboy poetry and music around the campfire... home by 10!

Scenic Plaza Whoop-Up Days BBQ
on the patio between the Galt Museum and Green Acres [or inside the Galt Museum in case of inclement weather]

$2 per person. All proceeds to go to Streets Alive.

The businesses located at Scenic Plaza present their annual fundraiser for local charity! Enjoy beef-on-a-bun and entertainment following the Whoop-Up Days parade.

The UFA History in Motion trailer will also be on site. This 53-foot long museum on wheels is run by the United Farmers Historical Society (UFHS) and shows the near-100 year history of the UFA in Alberta.
