cancelled
It seems the Superheroes Dinner &
Dance has not sparked the interest organizers expected.
"Unfortunately, we have to cancel
the event - not enough tickets have sold to make it the happening
evening we were planning," says Chris Roedler, Resource
Development Coordinator at the Galt. "Those holding tickets
will receive a full refund, and we would encourage them to attend
the Pop Culture Trivia Night or the All Night Games Night on
March 22 in their planned superhero costumes - we will be awarding
prizes!"

Earth
Hour 2013
This
Earth Hour, celebrate your action for the planet with the
people of the world by switching off your lights for an hour,
then go beyond the hour and participate in the 2013 challenge
"I Will if You Will..."
In
2012, individuals, business and institutions in more than
6950 cities and towns across 152 countries & territories
participated - turning off lights on landmarks and homes in
former war-torn countries to the great cities of Europe...
In
2013 in Canada, we will shut off our lights on the 1910 Galt
Hospital facade and non-essential indoor lights during Earth
Hour. We
also go beyond the hour by turning them off EVERY DAY at 1:00
am - instead of lighting up the building all night!
