A chance
to have a fun night out with friends to see what is new in the
downtown and stop by well-established favourite restaurants. Sample
foods and learn about the history of the buildings. Sells out

by the Galt Museum for Historic Lethbridge Festival.

A Historic
Lethbridge Festival event
and a Galt Museum fundraiser
We're recreating a popular form of entertainment
from the 1940s - come dance the night away! Dance teachers will
be on hand to teach the moves. 1940s costumes encouraged!
Cash bar, non-alcoholic refreshments,
snack canteen. Galt Bonds, song requests by donation, and other
fun ways for people to support the Galt throughout the night.
The exhibits will be open [tours available], along with a special
display of typical items found in a 1940's household.

first concert of the 2010 Fort Macleod International Festival
(formerly Windy Mountain Music Festival), with music director
Rivka Golani, is presented at the Galt in a partnership inspired
by the Blackfoot Shirts exhibit.
Featuring
the world premiere of two musical compositions inspired by Blackfoot
culture, along with other Canadian compositions and music by Johannes
Brahms, the evening begins with Preludes (pre-concert talks).

Sculpture Exhibit
Celebrating
ArtWalk!
Southern
Alberta is home to many talented artists who create three dimensional
artwork. The intriguing range of expression, media, style, genre,
colour and size is examined in this juried exhibit.
All
works shown in the Community Savings Learning Studio. Afternoon
demonstrations in the Friends of the Galt Board Room and Small
Meeting Room.

The Galt Hospital wing of
the Galt Museum is 100 years old this year, and we're throwing
a Centennial and Galt Babies birthday party! Free
admission, programs and activities throughout the day, which also
celebrates the opening of the new exhibit
Galt Hospital: 100 Years.
