Galt Board and staff welcomes new CEO

Susan Burrows-Johnson began her new role on July 9. She has an extensive background in senior management of charities. Her educational background includes post-secondary education in history, public relations, communications and management. Susan had recently started the first year course work at the Alberta College of Art and Design, before moving to Lethbridge.

The CEO/Executive Directorship at the Galt will be her fourth posting in this kind of position, although in different fields ranging from children and youth to health and wellness. Susan has been a volunteer somewhere since she was sixteen and believes in the participation of volunteers in building our community. Susan and her husband have three boys, age 17.5 to 22 years old, and one collie. She likes to cook, camp and try to paint landscapes.
