Race for Resources encourages students to learn about the coalmining heritage of Lethbridge and southern Alberta. Through the program, students also gain understanding of how a community's history is inextricably linked to its natural resources and environment.

Making Do or Doing Without encourages students to learn about the Great Depression in southern Alberta and Lethbridge. Students are introduced to various artefacts related to the period and are provided with hands-on experiences. Making Do or Doing Without further strives to raise an awareness and appreciation for the contributions made during the 1930s for subsequent generations.

Southern Alberta at War The World Wars affected every aspect of society and forever changed the world. The Southern Alberta at War program encourages students to learn about the World Wars and how they affected Lethbridge and southern Alberta. Students will be introduced to various artefacts, stories, and personalities of the period. This program strives to raise an awareness and appreciation for the contributions made during the war years and the debt owed by subsequent generations for the sacrifice of the men, women, and children involved.

Discover Archives introduces students to the resources available in the archives and facilitates students' understanding of how community resources are accessed and used. Primary sources and research techniques are also highlighted through the program

Kainai Voices overviews Kainai history, culture, and stories in order that students can appreciate the diversity of southern Alberta and the different perspectives people have. The program promotes respect and connects the past to the present and future. Kainai Voices also help students recognize the importance of understanding the worldview of the Kainai and the strengths and gifts of Kainai and other Aboriginal cultures.
