The Galt Museum collects and preserves artifacts of permanent value to the study of the human history of Lethbridge and southwestern Alberta.

Artifacts are collected from and donated by both public and private sources, and are available for viewing to researchers, by appointment.

The artifacts are included in our Discovery Hall in the Permanent exhibit and, where possible, in our Temporary exhibits. Below are 5 such objects - a small sampling of the 20,000+ cared for by our professional staff!
