Glider Altimeter and Clock, 1929-1939
P20060019001 and P20060019002

These flight instruments were used by members of a glider aircraft club which operated in Lethbridge, AB in the 1930s.

The club's original members were teenage kids who were fascinated with early flight. Together, they constructed their own primary glider and got it airborne within the club's first year. By decade's end, they flew multiple gliders and laid unofficial claim to the Canadian record for a cross country flight. Sadly, the Lethbridge Gliding Club dissolved when war broke out in 1939.
