Still and Mash Tool, ca. 1900-1930
P20060005002-3
Still and associated tool were discovered in a crawl space under a line
riders' shack located on the Little Bow Ranch. The shack was originally
part of the historic Circle "0" Ranch which, encompassed open
grazing land south to the Little Bow River. Hyman Cohen, the donor's
father, bought the ranch in 1943-1944. The site of the shack is now
under water, located at the foot of an irrigation dam on the eastern
edge of what, today, is known as Little Bow Provincial Park.
