These
five dolls were made by Dorothy Shaw. Dorothy started her career in
1960 at the St. Michael's Hospital as a part-time housemother. In 1973,
when the school was closed, she became the receptionist in the office
building. Until only recently, Dorothy volunteered her time at the hospital
helping out in any way she could. From typing and spelling corrections,
to moving furniture, she was always willing to help. She would even
hand out the pay cheques to each staff member every second week. Dorothy
hand made each of these dolls for the St. Michael's Hospital.
