The Galt Museum Archives collects and preserves information of permanent value to the study of the human history of Lethbridge and southwestern Alberta. Information is collected from both public and private sources, and is available to all researchers.

Response Time The Archives makes every effort to respond to research requests within 30 days of receipt. Please be aware, however, that current staff levels and a fluctuating workload can affect our response time.

Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday, 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Closed statutory holidays.

If you are a first-time user of the Archives, please ask the staff to introduce you to the variety of finding aids you can use in your research. It takes very little time, and will make your visit to the Archives a productive one!
