Senator Buchanan Collection
Lethbridge Public Library Senator Buchanan Room | 810 - 5 Ave S

During Historic Lethbridge Week, the Lethbridge Public Library will open the Senator Buchanan Room for a peek at some of the local treasures which reside there. This collection has a wide range of resources reflecting the people, places and events which have helped make Lethbridge and southern Alberta such an outstanding place to live. You can be introduced to luminaries like Kootenai Brown, Gertrude Roger or Frederick Haultain. You can visit the stories of "sites" of unique interest, like Mosquito Creek or Cluny, and read the diaries of the trench warriors of World War One. Many more historical nuggets await.
